Our Garden in Old Lake Highlands

Thank you so much to our incredible neighbor and friend of the garden who has agreed to sponsor the Old Lake Highlands Garden for the 3rd year in a row. Thanks to Eric’s generosity, we have been able to purchase the needed irrigation, soil, compost, plants, and more that allow us to produce for the neighborhood. Please check out his page for any contracting and remodeling needs!

Today at 1pm we’ll have our first Sunday workday! We’ll begin doing twice a month workdays so all who want to participate can join. It’s a beautiful day to be in the garden ☀️ 🌱

We still need several more bags of leaves for our compost bins. If you have bags that are leaves only, please drop them off at the garden and we’ll take care of the rest! Message us if you have any questions!

It’s going to be a beautiful day on Saturday and a great weekend to be in Old Lake Highlands! Come help maintain the garden from 10-12, plant some new seedlings, and walk home with a harvest. Then, it’s off to the Jingle Mingle on Parkhurst from 12-3.

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone.

Shhhhhhhh! Don’t tell anyone…we are planting onions again. In case you missed the great onion theft of 2023, we lost 300 onions to a crook with really bad breath! We will on the look out for the bad guy with bad breath this year.

🌿 Due to the upcoming weather forecast, we're moving our garden workday to Saturday, January 13th from 12-2pm. We'll be prepping the garden for the freezing temperatures ahead, and we need all hands on deck!
