Delighted to Doula’s goal is to have an impact on the reduction of Maternal and Infant Mortality in marginalized communities through education and support during the first year of the 4th Trimester.

A place to learn, grow, and rest. Our warm, practical classes are built for parents and caregivers navigating the everyday moments of caring for a baby, from expecting families preparing for birth to seasoned birth workers deepening their practice.

Classes include:

🤱 Breastfeeding with Confidence
🛡️ Safe Hands, Calm Baby
👶 Infant and Toddler Care
đź’Ľ Getting Ready for Work
đź“š Parent Education
🌙 Safe Sleep

Drop in for one, or come back for the whole series! All classes begin at 1:00 PM and are led by Ryann Counce-Barnes, Postpartum Doula & Director of Education.

We’re excited to share some wonderful news! 🤎

Delighted to Doula has received a grant from The Dallas Foundation to support our Community-Based Postpartum Doula Program.

This funding will strengthen our ability to provide community-based postpartum doula care, education, resources, and continued support to mothers and families as they navigate the postpartum period.

At Delighted to Doula, we believe care shouldn't stop after birth. Supporting mothers during postpartum means supporting the well-being of babies, families, and the communities around them.

The Dallas Foundation drives enduring change for Greater Dallas through strategic investments, collaborative partnerships, and innovative giving.

We are grateful to for supporting this work and helping us continue showing up for families in our community.

Sometimes a “result” looks like a mother getting an answer to a question she was afraid to ask.

Sometimes it’s having someone there while she navigates feeding, recovery, rest, and the realities of life with a newborn.

Sometimes it’s simply knowing, “I don’t have to do this by myself.”

Today, on North Texas Giving Day, we’re raising $35,000 through our First 40 Days Campaign to help Delighted to Doula continue providing in-home postpartum doula support, our Postpartum Wellness Center, and our Postpartum Wellness Network.
