First Baptist Church of Lockhart spent time serving in Jamaica recently.

As a team of three, they repaired damaged roofs in the community. They also did electrical work, painting and worked on storage for On Mission Network partner Adventures Relief ministry.

Their work doesn’t go unnoticed – and makes a big impact on the lives of those still facing challenges after Hurricane Melissa.

Last week, On Mission Network and on Mission came together for Methodist Day, where churches and church leaders from a Wesleyan background came together to discuss how to mobilize churches after disasters and through the long term expertise of TXM disaster relief.
