Dyrk Burcie - DYRK Strong/Fight Cancer Wristbands

For those of you who haven't heard, there is a group of fire fighters from Southern California and surrounding areas who have put together a trip of a life time for the Burcie family!!! It has been planned for next month for a full week in San Diego. Two condos donated, two rental cars donated, 5 tickets to Lego Land, 5 tickets to Sea World, 5 tickets to the San Diego Zoo. We need help with either having a private jet donated or we need to raise the money for a commercial airline for 10 people.

As of right now, a total of $602 has been donated toward this trip, via the link above. Realistically, they'll need 5 to 10 times that to fly everyone and have money to spend while there. Unfortunately, the window of opportunity for the Burcies to make this trip is not going to last very long, so please share this with your family, friends, coworkers or anyone you think might be able to help.

www.dyrkstrong.org - The wristbands are supposed to be in tomorrow, so I'll start accepting orders on our website today (the image on the website is not a picture of the actual wristband, but it will be updated when they come in)! To make sure we don't sell more than we have in our inventory, there will only be 100 wristbands available to purchase on the website at a time. To order a wristband or to make a donation, please go to the website listed above. More wristbands are being produced and will be available in about 2 weeks due to the overwhelming response from everyone already!

OK everybody, as of today (07/05/12) we're really close to getting this campaign kicked off. The wristbands should be here within a week, and to make it easier for people to order them, a website is ALMOST finished being created for placing orders on line. The majority of sales will be done around Dallas, but we want to be able to get the wristbands to as many people as possible. Right now, it looks like we'll still be able to sell them for $3.00 in person, but online they'll be $4.00 (to facilitate credit card processing and web hosting fees) plus $1.00 for shipping.
