Friday night last week, April 24th, we had our first ever gathering of CBMC Dallas-Fort Worth Trusted Advisor Forum members with their wives along with others in Allen, TX at a dinner sponsored by Thrivent and OneHope and catered by Catering to Love. It was an amazing experience of business and professional men connecting from across the DFW Metroplex that is sure to have ripple effects for a long time to come. These are “generational shift influencers,” and God is using them for impact beyond what can be measured!

We mourn with the global Christian community over the passing of our brother in Christ, Dr. Voddie Baucham on September 25, 2025.

Dr. Baucham's ministry was a masterclass in making the centrality of Christ relevant to everyday life, directly impacting how we approach their faith and living it out daily.

His unique journey—coming to Christ as a skeptic in college after a non-Christian upbringing—allowed him to speak to "outsiders" and bring a clarity and challenge few could match. Whether teaching on apologetics, family life, or complex social issues, he equipped ordinary people to think and live biblically in every area of life.

His legacy of faithfulness, courage, and uncompromising truth will continue to inspire the CBMC mission of reaching, empowering and deploying men in the workplace with the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
