Last week, we continued the Center for Business Impact at the Communities Foundation of Texas tradition of honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through service. Some of our member companies came together at Crossroads Community Services to support neighbors facing food insecurity.

Volunteers worked side by side to sort grocery donations and assemble emergency food boxes, helping ensure families have access to quality, nutritious food when they need it most. For more than two decades, Crossroads Community Services has served Dallas and surrounding communities by alleviating food insecurity and distributing essential groceries to an average of 1,100 households each month.

We are grateful for the businesses that showed up and led by example, including American First Finance, Catalyst Health Group, On-Target Supplies & Logistics, LTD., and the Communities Foundation of Texas. Your commitment to service and community impact is exactly what this work is all about.

Nonprofit registration is OPEN for Communities Foundation of Texas' North Texas Giving Day!

is on Thursday, September 19 and Early Giving begins September 1. Nonprofits must register by August 9 to participate, but the earlier you register, the more opportunities you're eligible to receive!

Nonprofits that finish registration today, June 3, by 11:59 p.m. CST will be entered to win a $1,500 award to kick off their 2024 campaign. One winner will be randomly selected and announced on North Texas Giving Day's social media channels tomorrow. 🎉
