We had a wonderful couple of days joining together the wireless community at the Charity Golf Tournament at the Hard Rock in Tulsa, OK.

It was also a great time to celebrate the evolution of our state wireless association born from combining the former Texas State Wireless and Arkansas Oklahoma Wireless Associations. We are now the country’s largest (and proudest!) state wireless association.

Stay tuned for more information about and make plans to attend the holiday social in Fort Worth Thursday, December 4!

We are proud to recognize Hunter Thomson as the recipient of the Greg Yocom Memorial Scholarship for Fall 2025. This scholarship celebrates her exceptional academic success, leadership, and dedication to service.

Currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Houston, Hunter holds an impressive 4.63 GPA and brings a wealth of professional and leadership experience to her studies. Her career in the technology sector has included managing global sourcing strategy, leading large-scale contract management transformations, and serving on the steering committee for the AMD Women’s Forum. These roles strengthened her expertise in negotiation, collaboration, and change management, skills she plans to carry forward into her future as a clinical social worker.

Hunter’s passion for leadership was cultivated during her undergraduate years at the University of Texas, where she served as Vice President of Social Standards and President of Delta Gamma Sorority. She also participated in campus Bible study, joined the supply chain student organization, served as an Ignite counselor for incoming freshmen, and studied abroad in Hong Kong, gaining valuable global perspective. Recognized with multiple awards for leadership and service, she continues to support Delta Gamma as an advisor to collegiate leaders.

We are proud to celebrate Hunter’s achievements and have no doubt her future will positively impact her profession and community.
