One of our greatest (and unexpected) joys in costuming children’s theatre has been getting to reuse and reimagine costume pieces that we labored for days (or weeks) making from scratch the first time around! This beautiful dress was crafted specifically for the actress who played Charlotte in our production of “Charlotte’s Web” last summer. Now, all that time and energy gets to shine again on stage with an added twist as “Spider” in “James and the Giant Peach” this summer! What a blessing it is to help these young actors and actresses bring their characters to life in costumes they love and feel fantastic in!! 🕷️🕸️🎭 Don’t miss “James and the Giant Peach” on July 17 and 18! As we finish school strong and head into summer, here at Bright Lights we are thrilled to introduce our four summer interns! You will get to see these wonderful young women in all places and spaces this summer, so if you see them, give them a warm Bright Lights welcome! These women love the Lord, theatre, and students- what a gift it is to have them with us for the summer.
