23 Years of Refuge House
Today, my heart overflows with gratitude as we celebrate 23 incredible years of Refuge House. What began as a small seed of faith has grown into such a blessing that has provided safe homes for hundreds of children and youth; each one a reminder of why we started all those years ago.
To our foster parents; you are the hands and feet of love, opening your homes and hearts to children in need.
To our adoptive parents; you embody forever love, turning pages of uncertainty into stories of belonging.
To our contractors, therapists, and dedicated staff; past and present; thank you for pouring your skills, energy, and compassion into this organization. Your work is not just a job; it’s ministry.
To our community partners and supporters; you have stood in the gap, lifted our arms when we were weary, and shown that it truly takes a village.
To “our” children and youth; thank you for inspiring us every day with your courage, joy, and resilience. You are the reason we do what we do.
And above all, to Jesus; our faithful leader from the very beginning; thank You for guiding every step, opening every door, and holding every child in Your unfailing love. Refuge House has always been Yours, and it always will be.
Twenty‑three years later, I am still humbled to be part of this story. Here’s to the lives changed, the families formed, and the hope that continues to grow. The best is yet to come.
