On behalf of the Exchange Club of Lake Highlands, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Robert and the entire family on the passing of Stephani. She touched the lives of so many in our neighborhood and community, and she will be remembered with great respect and affection.
The Lake Highlands Women’s League is heartbroken by the passing of our dear friend and active member, Stephani Walne.
Since joining LHWL in 2018, Stephani poured her heart into our organization and our community. She served with dedication and grace as Home Tour Chair, Home Tour Chair-Elect, and Scholarship Chair, while also volunteering in countless other capacities over the years. Stephani brought warmth, creativity, generosity, and unwavering commitment to everything she touched. Her joyful spirit and servant’s heart made a lasting impact on our League and on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Beyond her many contributions, Stephani will be remembered for the kindness she extended so freely, the friendships she nurtured, and the genuine care she showed to everyone around her. She embodied the spirit of community and service that defines the Lake Highlands Women’s League.
We extend our deepest condolences and prayers to her family and loved ones - especially her husband Robert, her daughter Lucy, sons Brett, Jack & Charlie, her sister-in-law, active Sarah Hefton, and her mother-in-law, sustainer Joan Walne, during this incredibly difficult time. Stephani was the daughter of the late LHWL member, Eileen Smith.
A memorial service honoring Stephani’s life will held at Park Cities Baptist Church on Thursday, May 14th at 1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation and Lake Highlands Women’s League.
