We were excited to welcome Saniya Samura, our club-sponsored Georgia Rotary Student Program (GRSP) student, to the Rotary Club of Paulding County meeting.

Saniya visited the club and shared more about her home country (Sierra Leone), her experiences as an international student, and her journey here in Georgia. We’re grateful for the opportunity to get to know Saniya better and learn from her unique perspective.

GRSP is a Rotary-sponsored cultural exchange program that brings outstanding international students to Georgia to experience our communities, colleges, culture, and way of life while building lifelong friendships and connections.

This week, our club had the opportunity to hear from the Paulding County Chamber of Commerce and learn more about the important work they are doing to support local businesses and strengthen our community.

We enjoyed learning about the Chamber’s role in connecting businesses, creating opportunities, advocating for our local business community, and helping Paulding County continue to grow.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn from our community partners and better understand how we can work together to make Paulding County an even better place to live, work, and serve.

What exactly is Rotary?

Rotary brings people together.

People from different businesses, backgrounds, and walks of life who share one thing in common: a desire to make a difference.

Through Rotary, we connect with our community, serve those in need, invest in our youth, support local organizations, and work together to create lasting change.

Here in Paulding County, we’re proud to be People of Action—showing up, serving others, and making our community stronger. Over the years, our club has raised and donated over $1 million dollars to our local community!
