Founded in 2011, the non-profit organization was formed to provide much-needed support to the faculty and students of the Dallas School District through scholarships, improved facilities, and support of educational, athletic, and extracurricular activities. Some of the foundation’s goals include: providing academic opportunities for all students; bridging the gap between the school district and th

e community; and increasing resources for students both in and out of the school environment. The funds raised by the organization come through fundraising events and solicitation. As a 501c-3 non-profit, all the money raised by the Dallas Foundation goes to helping the students in Dallas School District.
