Another successful project! 🌸

We are excited to share our documentary on the Reusable Menstrual Pads Project. Thanks to professional training from a company in Switzerland, women and girls have learned to produce reusable menstrual pads that help keep girls in school, protect their health, and restore dignity.

Thank you to everyone who supported this project.

Dear Donors,

We would like to share an important update regarding our orphaned girls’ program in Tigray, Ethiopia.

Due to the ongoing fragile security situation, early school closures, and concerns about renewed conflict and displacement, guardians have requested to take the girls back to live with their families. The girls come from different villages, and many have expressed fear and a deep need to be close to their loved ones during this uncertain time.

After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to reunite the girls with their legal guardians and families whenever possible. Our top priority is their safety, emotional well-being, and long-term stability.

While this was not an easy decision, we have also observed that many of the girls miss their families deeply. Supporting them within their homes allows them to remain safe, emotionally supported, and connected to their communities.

We will continue to support the children through monthly financial assistance to their guardians, along with community meals, education support, and youth activities to ensure they remain engaged and cared for.

Our orphanage facility remains available and ready if needed in the future. However, our current focus is strengthening families and helping them move toward self-sufficiency through small business and income-generating programs.

Thank you for your continued support, trust, and prayers for the children and families of Tigray.
