We are proud to introduce Dr. IV Mirus as one of the featured presenters for our 50th Anniversary Gala! 🎉

Dr. IV Mirus is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at UT Southwestern and an ER Physician at Parkland Hospital and Children's Dallas Hospital. A CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) with ASL as his first language and a former professional medical interpreter, he has spent his career bridging the gap between the Deaf community and the healthcare system. He serves on the board of Deaf Action Center, as a medical correspondent for the Daily Moth, and is the founder and owner of ASL TeleMed, dedicated to advancing health equity and access for the culturally Deaf.

Our goal is to raise $100,000 to sustain the essential nonprofit services and programs that has always served our Deaf and Hard of Hearing community since 1975.
