We are deeply saddened to confirm the passing of Chimei Zounon, who left us on the morning of Monday, December 8th, 2025, in Oklahoma City.

As the family navigates this painful and unexpected loss, they wish to hold the funeral next week, most likely on Saturday, December 20th, in Oklahoma City. We will share the final details as soon as they are confirmed.

Démarrage de l'opération de renouvellement du passeport biométrique pour les béninois vivants aux ETATS-UNIS d'AMERIQUE et au CANADA

La Direction de l’Émigration et Immigration (DEI) organise à l'intention des béninois résidant aux ÉTATS-UNIS d'AMERIQUE et au CANADA une opération spéciale de délivrance de passeport ordinaire biométrique.
Cette opération concerne uniquement le renouvellement de passeport biométrique et son établissement aux enfants de moins de 10 ans.

Pour les compatriotes précédemment enrôlés et en attente de leur passeport, le complément de dossier est à envoyer pour les béninois vivant aux Etats-Unis d'Amérique 🇺🇸 sur l'adresse : [email protected]

et pour les Béninois vivant au CANADA 🇨🇦sur l'adresse : [email protected]

POUR LES NOUVELLES DEMANDES DE RENOUVELLEMENT DE PADSEPORT

Les requérants devront fournir un dossier complet et payer la prestation à Cotonou, à la Direction Générale du Trésor sur le compte intitulé « Direction Émigration Immigration Passeport » numéro du compte 00000010435937.

NB: Les compatriotes dont les passeports à renouveler ne sont pas biométriques ou qui désirent se faire établir un passeport pour la première fois ne sont pas concernés par la teneur du présent communiqué.

Rendons fiers nos enfants handicapés et célébrons nos concitoyens en situation de Handicap qui ont pu se faire une place dans la société, et ce malgré leur spécificité.

COVID-19 Updates:

DALLAS - Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins has issued a stay-at-home order for the county starting at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, March 23. It will last until at least April 3.
The order states, "all individuals currently living within Dallas County are ordered to shelter at their place of residence." and "all businesses operating within Dallas County, except Essential Businesses...are required to cease all activities at facilities located within the County." All essential businesses must also comply with social distancing "to the greatest extent possible."

Coronavirus health tips

While COVID-19 is a new respiratory virus, daily precautions recommended to prevent respiratory illnesses are the same:

• Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use hand sanitizer when you can't wash your hands.

• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

• Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue and throw the tissue away. If you don’t have a tissue, use the elbow of your sleeve. Don’t use your hands to cover coughs and sneezes.

• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

• Stay home when you are sick and keep children home when they are sick.

• Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
