100,000 Homes Campaign - Dallas We are experiencing a crucial moment in the history of homelessness in America. Right now, roughly 110,000 people are “chronically homeless”.

They've lived on the streets or in shelters for a year or more and need housing and medical treatment. The risks of being homeless are on par with some forms of cancer, cutting an average of 25 years from a homeless person’s lifespan. Moreover, the annual public cost of letting people remain homeless is astronomical, far exceeding the cost of supportive housing. Moved by these daunting realities, Campaign Communities are making tremendous progress in housing the most vulnerable homeless people among them.
