✠ Feast of the Transfiguration ✠

Today, the Church celebrates the Feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord, when Christ revealed His divine glory to Saints Peter, James, and John atop Mount Tabor.

As His face shone like the sun and His garments became dazzling white, the Father proclaimed:

"This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to Him."
— Matthew 17:5

The Transfiguration reminds us that beyond every trial, sacrifice, and cross lies the promise of resurrection and eternal glory. It strengthened the Apostles before the Passion, and it strengthens us today to remain faithful to Christ in our own lives.

On this feast day, let us renew our commitment to follow Him faithfully, trusting that God's grace transforms those who seek Him.

"Lord, it is good that we are here." (Matthew 17:4)

May Christ's light shine through us in our homes, our parishes, and our communities.

St. Peter, St. James, and St. John, pray for us. ✠
