Light The Night North Texas The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night Walks are an annual event to raise funds for cures.

Light The Night is the nation’s night to pay tribute and bring hope to people battling cancer. Light The Night is LLS’s nationwide evening fundraising walk to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by cancer. Nationally, in 2011, LLS’s Light The Night Walk campaign raised $50.8 million to support research and patient services and our goal in 2012 is $1 million. Champions For Cures walk along a tw

o-mile route carrying illuminated balloons – white for patients and survivors, red for supporters and gold for teams walking in memory of a loved one. In 2011, more than 8,000 people in North Texas participated in one of 3 walks - North Cities hosted over 2,000 people, and our Dallas and Fort Worth Walk sites hosted approximately 3,000 people each.
