✨ Snip, snip, hooray! ✂️ This past Sunday, we transformed not just hair, but hearts at the Austin Street Center. 💖 After 7.5 incredible years of giving haircuts and spreading hope, we celebrated 2026 by providing 77 haircuts and braids, all while being showered with warmth and gratitude. 🌟 Our amazing stylists and the talented kiddos who crafted beautiful bracelets reminded us that kindness is the best accessory. Together, we’re not just changing looks, but changing lives! 💫

Exciting Haircut Event tomorrow.

I am happy to share that tomorrow, we will be hosting our first of the new year haircut event at the shelter. It’s not just about the haircuts; it’s about spreading love and kindness!

My daughter and her cousins are going above and beyond by making beautiful handmade bracelets for the clients. It warms my heart to see them take time out of their weekend to pour their hearts into creating these thoughtful gifts. Each bracelet serves as a little reminder for everyone that they are loved and cared for.

I believe that simple acts of kindness can make a significant impact, and I am so proud of these 3 girls for understanding the importance of giving back. I can’t wait to see the smiles on the faces of the clients as they receive their haircuts and these special gifts.

Dear Friends and Supporters,

As we wrap up our final event of the year, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the incredible barbers and cosmetologists who have served alongside us at Austin Street Center this past year. Your unwavering dedication in providing haircuts, love, and dignity to those in need has made a profound impact on our community.

This past Sunday, we were able to provide 76 haircuts which meant 76 smiles! Each haircut not only transformed appearances but also uplifted spirits and provided a sense of hope and confidence. It’s a wonderful reminder of the difference we can make in the lives of others, and we are grateful to have had the opportunity to serve that many people together.

Thank you to everyone who has come out to support us with your talents, time, and prayers. Your generosity and commitment to making a difference mean the world to us and those we serve. We are excited to announce that we will be back next year, continuing our mission on the second Sunday in January!

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season filled with joy and love. Together, we are making a change, one haircut at a time.

We’re especially looking for compassionate hairdressers for women. We have wonderful barbers volunteering, but we need your skills to help these amazing individuals feel confident and cared for.
