This book was created for Black teen girls who are growing through hard things, learning themselves, healing, questioning, and trying to find their voice. Filled with real stories and thoughtful prompts, this is more than a book it’s a reminder that they are seen.

Black women are being killed by intimate partners at disproportionately high rates in this country. This isn’t rare. This isn’t random. This is a pattern.

Happy February 💜🧡

February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, and while I’ve been quiet for a while, it’s been intentional.

Two years ago, I started a project and placed it on the shelf as life started lifing. At the beginning of this month, I felt called to pick it back up and finish it.

Growing Through It, Bestie is a beautiful journal created especially for teen girls—full of reflection, encouragement, and reminders that they are never alone. We’re now in the final stages, and I can’t wait to share it with you.
