A simple donation can make an incredible difference!

We are helping spread the word about a wonderful community initiative organized by Christian Cottage Prep in Fort Worth!

Their students are collecting men’s button-down shirts to benefit the Blessing Box Ministry. These shirts will be transformed into recovery shirts for women healing from breast cancer, providing comfort, dignity, and a little extra love during their recovery.

Here’s how you can help!

Donate new or gently used men’s button-down shirts.

All sizes, colors, and patterns are welcome!

Donations accepted October 1–30

Christian Cottage Prep
1140 Morrison Dr.
Fort Worth, TX 76120

Drop-off hours: 8 AM–4 PM

I love seeing young people take the initiative to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Please consider donating a shirt or sharing this post! You never know who might have a few hanging in their closet, ready to give another woman a little comfort and hope.

🍂✨ Fall Festival fun with some SUPER company! ✨🍂

A huge thank you to the Dallas Public Library – Timberglen Branch for inviting Cause to Play to be part of their Fall Festival!

We had such a wonderful time meeting families, visiting with the kiddos, taking photos, sharing smiles and celebrating an afternoon filled with community and fun. Events like this give our volunteers the opportunity to do what Cause to Play was created to do — use the characters we love to create memorable moments for children and families throughout DFW.

We’re incredibly grateful to the Timberglen team for welcoming us and for continuing to create events where families can come together, connect and simply have a great time.

And a special thank you to our Cause to Play volunteers who suited up and showed up! You gave your time, your talent and your Saturday to our community, and you looked pretty spectacular doing it.

Thank you, Timberglen! We loved spending Fall Festival with you and hope to see everyone again soon. 🍁✨

CAUSE TO PLAY IS RETURNING TO FAN EXPO DALLAS!

What a fast and furious Saturday at the booth. We had a blast meeting you all. And look forward to Sunday at the Community Zone at FAN EXPO Dallas, September 11–13!

Come find us throughout the weekend, meet some of our volunteer cosplayers, spin our prize wheel for a FREE prize, and spend a little time creating with us!

Our booth will have arts & crafts for the kids and a welcoming place for families to sit, relax and decompress when the excitement of the convention starts feeling a little overwhelming.

👻 And on Sunday, we’re getting SPOOKY!

Join Cause to Play in the Kids Zone at 11:00 AM Sunday, September 13 for our Spooky Hunt panel! We’ll have some Halloween fun together, and we’re bringing prizes for our Best Boy Costume and Best Girl Costume — including these ridiculously cute little Trolls waiting to go home with their winners! 🎃

One of our favorite things about FAN EXPO Dallas is getting to meet so many of you face to face. Whether you’ve followed Cause to Play for years or you’re discovering us for the first time, please come say hello! Bring the kids, spin the wheel, make something, take a break and spend a little time with us.

We look forward to seeing you all this year at FAN EXPO Dallas in the community zone. We will have so many awesome arts and crafts and fun. We are a space to stop and re group. We understand children need a space to create when they are overstimulated. We will also be hosting a panel Spooky Haunt comprised of arts and crafts as well as a costume contest for children ages 2-10. Come see us. We will be there the full weekend Friday September 11th - Sunday September 13th.

Heroes, rebels, galactic troopers, Jupiter Moon, and one very legendary Odin Wyche… all under one roof for a day built on imagination, community, and fun.

Cause to Play had an amazing time at North Richland Hills Library for Free Comic Book Day. Thank you for inviting us out to meet so many incredible families, fellow cosplayers, and future superheroes.

We were thrilled to be there alongside the 501st, with Supergirl, Spider-Man, Star Trek, Jupiter Moon, Odin Wyche, and so many amazing characters bringing the library to life.

Thank you again to North Richland Hills Library for supporting creativity, cosplay, literacy, and community events that bring people together. We had an absolute blast.

Folks we are so proud to be partnering up with Grandbury Granbury Santa House again this year. This is 100% free event. The memories that are made with Santa and Mrs C are wonderful. We provide the characters to entertain the folks in the line.
Come out and see Santa and have a lovely visit.

Since Granbury Santa House began, we have partnered with the city and Granbury Historic
Merchant Association. We thank HGMA for their support and historically allowing us to participate
in the Night of Lights Parade before opening the house that Friday evening.
From the beginning, Granbury Santa House wanted to provide a place for families to create
traditions and memories without charge. Safety for volunteers and our visitors remains our highest
priority. Due to changes within HGMA, the logistics and safety concerns this year led the Granbury
Santa House’s board of directors to reach a difficult decision. With heavy hearts, we must announce
we will not open following the parade on November 28, 2025. We will open as scheduled on
Saturday morning, November 29, 2025 and look forward to hosting thousands of people again this
year.
Please enjoy the parade with your family and plan to visit us during one of other scheduled
times. We welcome children of all ages—even the adult ones.
