Meditation is not just closing the eyes and sitting down for a few hours. It is for twenty four hours. Every moment, every breath, anything we do, how do we do it? It reveals who we are, what our quality is.

Whatever we give, we'll receive - a smile, a good word, compassion. Remember the wolf in sheep's clothing. Gurudev would say, "Sugar-coated bitter tablets." The inside is bitter; the outside is sugar. So it happens in life also.

Tattendorf Ashram Foundation Day

Loving and divine souls,

Let the choicest blessings of God and the masters be upon all of you.

I take this opportunity to pray for you, and I send my best wishes on the occasion of the foundation day of our ashram in Tattendorf.

Kriya Yoga Zentrum, located in Austria acts as the center for spreading Kriya Yoga all over Europe and some parts of Africa.

Our ashram life here really began with a small house in Vienna in the 17th district and then in the 19th district. Finally we moved to this ashram premises in 1998, in the holy presence of our beloved Shri Gurudev.

An ashram is a place of learning. The important learning is to develop the skill of loving and giving, to master the art of inner transformation with love.

In this world of complexities, chaos, and conflict, we need to live in love and manifest love in daily life.

When we live in an ashram for a short time or live there longer as residents, we should cultivate this skill and live accordingly.

A smile on the face heals within and heals others.

Love treasured in our hearts and expressed through our words and actions is the path for our development. It also helps others develop.

Let us love each other and always expand this love.

Let us pray and meditate sincerely every day, not only for our emancipation, but for everyone.

On this special day I pray that God and Shri Gurudev will bless all of us and the entire creation.

With Love,
Prajnanananda.

Don't blindly follow the advice of others, especially if you don't agree with it.

Don't allow others to pack your bags. When others pack your bags, you won't find the things you need. This means, don't be misguided by others; apply your own intuition, understanding, discrimination, and analysis. People can easily misguide you.

If we carry an unnecessary load, living an unbalanced life, we become tired and exhausted, and we exhaust those around us. Our worries, emotion, and exhaustion affect others.

With deep love, let us contemplate: I must improve my life, but I must remove the conditioning that I have. A beautiful soul is within, full of love, full of light, full of awareness, full of beauty, but it is covered with mind, memory, ego, and emotion. The lamp is burning brightly, but the glass is dirty. I must clean the glass. I'll clean my mind. I will try to slowly remove my mistakes. I must change myself.

If your teacher, good friend, or parents are not near you to point out a mistake, who will tell you? Your enemies will give a list of your mistakes, because that is what they look at.
