Cub fun day is this Saturday! It's not too late to sign your scouts up to attend. Preregistration prices were extended until Friday, October 28th. We are also still in need of some volunteers to help make this a safe and fun event for the cub scouts. If you are able to help please email Heather Barrett at [email protected].

Tomorrow is the last day to get your scouts preregistered for cub fun day! Get me the lists of scouts names at [email protected].

I am also still needing more volunteers to help run the stations, especially older scouts to assist the adults running the different activities. We do not have anyone at all running the obstacle course, knot tying, frisbee golf, or raingutter regatta yet. I also need more helpers for every station including the shooting sports. All volunteers that are signed up by tomorrow, October 18th will receive a free lunch for helping!

Anyone wanting to have their scout go to cub fun day needs to let me know by October 18th if you want the pre-registration pricing of $7 per scout and $5 per sibling. After the 18th it becomes $10 per scout or sibling. If there is anyone interested in volunteering to help run an activity at cub fun day, please also let me know. The deadline to pre-register for cub fun day/cub olympics will be October 18th. Please let me know asap if you have any scouts signing up to go.

Cub fun day will be at the big field at Pecan Grove park in Rowlett on October 29th. This is the same location that twilight camp was at.
