Seniors living with disabilities deserve the opportunity to age safely in place with dignity. Yet many are living with leaking roofs, failing ceilings, mold and mildew, unsafe conditions, or no working heat or air conditioning.
No one should have to choose between 💊, utilities, and food, or critical home repairs.
We are praying for ministries, volunteers, contractors, community partners, funders, and people willing to bring their gifts, services, relationships, and expertise to the table.
We are building an ecosystem where we work together to make a measurable difference.

Praying for Partners to Collaborate Emergency Housing & Home Repair Need

We are currently working with a household in the 75215 community consisting of three adults with disabilities who urgently need assistance to remain safe and housed.

Grant funding may provide up to $20,000 toward eligible repairs, but based on the condition of the property, we anticipate that the needs will exceed the available grant funding.

We are praying for collaborative partners who may be able to help close the gap through additional funding, donated materials, contractor services, accessibility improvements, or temporary housing assistance while the home is being addressed.

Temporary housing is a significant concern because the household's income is not sufficient to absorb normal rental costs while also maintaining their existing household obligations.

This is exactly why collaboration matters. One organization may not be able to solve the entire problem, but together we can bring different resources to the table and create a path toward a safe, stable home.
