We’re excited to introduce our newly hired IRA Coordinator, Kyle Morris! Please give Kyle the warmest of welcomes and a round of waving hands. 🙌🙌🙌

In his role as our IRA (Information, Referral & Assistance) Coordinator, Kyle supports individuals in finding information, connecting with community resources, and learning about services that may meet their needs. He can assist with referrals related to employment, education, communication access, benefits, and other support services.

A bit about Kyle:

Kyle studied Communication with a minor in Deaf Studies, which probably explains why he can’t just listen to a rap song like a normal person. While everybody else is enjoying the beat, he’s somewhere breaking down metaphors, double entendres, wordplay, and figuring out exactly why a bar hits. He’s passionate about the Deaf community, accessibility, and connecting people with resources that actually make a difference. Outside of work, Kyle enjoys sports, fitness, traveling, and spending time with his wife and son. He’s also a Philadelphia Eagles fan living in Dallas, which means he has already chosen workplace controversy before his first day!

Welcome to DAC, Kyle!

—VIDEO ACCESSIBILITY:
The video opens with Kyle standing with the front desk and the DAC logo on the all behind him. Kyle signs to the camera:

“Hello, my name is Kyle Morris, and I am the new hired IRA coordinator here at Deaf Action Center.

You will see me at the front desk here!” Kyle shows the front desk and resumes signing to the camera:

“In my role, I work with individuals find information, connect with community resources, and learn about services that may meet their needs. I can assist with referral related to employment, education, communication, access, benefits, and other support services.

It’s the football season, and I’m a Philadelphia Eagles fan!

I’m excited to join DAC, serve the community, and meet the team. And yes, Dallas Cowboys fans are welcome.”

Kyle concludes with a smile. The video cuts to the DAC 50 logo with a gray background full of bright sparkles.
