Grief can feel isolating—but no child has to walk through it alone. 💛

CampSunrise is a FREE weekend bereavement camp for kids ages 6–17, offering a safe place to share, connect, and heal alongside others who understand their loss.

Through fun, engaging activities led by licensed counselors, children learn healthy ways to process their grief and begin their journey toward hope.

Help make this healing possible. Your gift allows children to attend CampSunrise at no cost—give today and be part of their journey toward hope. To make a donation, visit: https://christian-works.org/donate/

When our scheduled pickup with the Salvation Army fell through, the Prestoncrest Church of Christ Youth Group (PCYG) stepped up in a big way!

They loaded a 15-foot box truck—plus an extra truck bed—full of items to support our efforts.

We’re so grateful for their willingness to jump in and serve when it mattered most!💙

Special thanks to Jayden, Sully, Owen, Hagan, Heidi, Karl, Sam, and Bryan!

CampSunrise is 100% free for all of our attendees. This is only possible because of camp sponsors.

Your sponsorship can change a child’s summer—and their story. By sponsoring a camper for CampSunrise, you help provide a safe, joy-filled week of healing and hope for a child who has experienced loss. One gift. One child. A lasting impact.

To sponsor a camper, visit: https://christian-works.org/donate/ and change the donation category from “General” to “Sponsor a Camper”

Today, we want to honor mothers.
We want to honor the mothers who are alive and the mothers who have died.
We want to honor the mothers of the living and the mothers who know the agony of a child’s death.
We want to honor the birth mothers and the adoptive mothers.
We want to honor the expectant mothers and the ones struggling with infertility.
We want to honor the mothers who are raising children and the mothers who are separated from their children.

For many this may be a day of joy and celebration. For others, it may be a day of profound grief.

We pray that you will be surrounded by care, comfort, joy, and compassion on this day and every day.
