Awakening the Mind Mobile Museum WWI Remembered

Awakening the Mind Mobile Museum WWI Remembered 100 years ago a promise was made! A promise to NEVER forget... the Millions who lost their lives for the freedoms we hold so dear 100 years later!

While in Kansas City this past March, I went to our nations only WWI Museum that honors the men and women who gave their all for us 100 years ago. While there, I also discovered something I never knew existed, my inner "History Geek"... who knew? As I passed through all of the amazing artifacts of the Great War, I couldn't help but think how much that my Seniors that I teach back in Dallas, would

just love this. It also occurred to me that they are probably the last descendants who would have had a direct connection to their ancestors. I also knew that the possibility of them making the trip to KC was not something many of them could do any longer. That is how the "WWI Mobile Museum" came about. Over the past 6 months a collection of artifacts from all over the world have made their way to Dallas to soon head out to the many Senior facilities across North Texas...who knows, maybe beyond!! Please LIKE and SHARE this page to help bring "awareness" and a promised reminder to us all of the sacrifices made and to hold those three poignant words close to us... LEST WE FORGET...
