JSUNAA-Dallas Fort Worth Chapter

07/26/2026

What an incredible time at the TexSippian Cookout! There’s nothing like coming together with our respective chapter sister institutions throughout the DFW Metroplex. The fellowship, laughter, conversations, and shared HBCU unity made for an unforgettable day.

While we enjoyed reconnecting and celebrating our roots, what warmed our hearts the most was our shared commitment to giving back. Together, we were able to donate school supplies and other essential items to several local schools, helping students begin the upcoming school year prepared.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and supported this initiative.

We can’t wait to see everyone at the TexSippian Cookout on Saturday, July 11 at Huffhines Park Pavilion from 1:00-6:00PM. Come out and enjoy free food and music for a great cause uniting alumni from various institutions in the state of Mississippi. Feel free to bring your lawn chairs.

The TexSippian is also our annual school supply drive. We are supporting various middle schools in Richardson ISD this year. We look forward to seeing you all soon!
