TVMC is the leading educational event for current & emerging volunteer management professionals.

The Texas Volunteer Management Conference provides a day of broad based, affordable, nearby training for professional volunteer managers in Texas and nearby states. Throughout its 30+ year history, the conference has consistently received high evaluation marks from attendees for its educational value on topics of management trends, volunteerism and personal development. The conference is noted for workshops facilitated by trainers and leaders who are outstanding in their field.

With generous support from OneStar, we are offering 22 scholarships to TVMC on October 15–16, 2026, at UT Dallas.

Scholarship applications are open now through August 7th at 5pm and will cover the in-person registration fee.

Applicants will be notified on August 13 by the selection committee members.
Who is eligible to apply?
- In person attendees
- First-time TVMC attendees who have not yet registered for 2026
- Staff from a nonprofit, hospital, hospice, library, municipality, school, or government agency.
- Demonstrates financial need and would benefit professionally from attending

We're excited to offer this opportunity to attendees who need additional support to further their professional development in the field of volunteer management.
