Why do you serve on the board?
“This ministry serves a vital need in our community. I have personally experienced the stress of needing car repairs, not knowing whether a mechanic is being honest with me, and wondering how I was going to pay for the repairs. I want to see Metro Auto Ministries continue to provide that help and peace of mind to people who are in a difficult financial situation.”

What does Metro Auto Ministry mean to you?
“To me, MaM is like a cold drink in a desert. It provides help at a time when someone really needs it. It means a single mom can get her kids to school and get to work. It means a struggling college student can get to class and their part-time job. A reliable car can be the difference between being stuck and being able to move forward, and MaM helps make that possible.”

Why should someone support Metro Auto Ministry?
“Lots of folks around us are living on the edge of a financial crisis. An expensive car repair can put them over the edge. This organization is a practical way to make a real difference in someone's life.”

The Metro Auto Ministry Annual Fundraiser is happening NOW!

Follow along as we share stories from our clients and highlights from our year!

Ann Marie reached out to us after her minivan was having problem after problem. Local mechanics were giving her quotes that were way out of her budget - she knew she could never afford it. She also knew that as a newly divorced single mom with two kids, having a reliable car was a necessity. Their entire lives - work, school, grocery shopping, appointments - all came to a halt while Ann Marie searched for a resource to help her.

Metro Auto Ministry provided the needed repairs and got Ann Marie and her family back on the road.

The 11th Annual Metro Auto Ministry Fundraiser kicks off TODAY!
Our goal is $33,000 and we have generous donors who have pledged to MATCH every dollar raised!

This money allows us to keep our doors open another year, helping our neighbors get back on the road. Metro Auto Ministry provides free and low-cost car repair to low-income individuals in the DFW community.

We can’t do any of this without your support.
