Skate Parks for Dallas Skate Parks for Dallas strives to raise awareness and advocate for the creation of public skateparks in Dallas.

Skate Parks for Dallas, an independent 501(c)(3) is working with the city & skaters, citizens & companies to build Dallas's first public, concrete skatepark. This project will help realize the vision of the vast skate community in the city. The City of Dallas Parks Department, with the support of Dallas City Council, have included initial funds for a skatepark in the November 7, 2017 Bond Electio

Thanks to all of you, we completed Phase I of the fundraising campaign for the Westmoreland Skate Park, securing $400K in private donations to match $400K in public funds; together with the $1M municipal bond, Oak Cliff raised $1.8M to build the first public skate park south of I-30!

We’re kicking off Phase 2, Sunday, May 17th, with a short, summer campaign to raise $300K for a shade structure for the park, allowing for year-round park usage. Please join us at Cenzo’s to kick off this summer campaign on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 11am.

For our Phase 2 kick off event, we’ll have:
Free Skateboard lessons
Opportunity to purchase personalized bricks for the park
Pizza, beverages and good times!

There are different age groups and both street and park divisions—a good chance to podium and also get national Boardr points.
