COMPASSION CHANGES EVERYTHING: KENAI
❤️ Meet Kenai. Sometimes, the dog you never planned for becomes the one you can’t imagine living without.
More than seven years ago, after losing his beloved German Shepherd, Tady, Kenai’s dad was certain he did not want another dog. Tady had been a big dog with a strong personality, and losing him left a tremendous emptiness at home.
Then, one day, his son sent him a picture of three Australian Shepherd puppies and asked which one he liked. He chose the black-and-white puppy with his tongue sticking out—but made it clear he wasn’t ready for another dog.
The next day, on Father’s Day, his son arrived with two puppies.
“Happy Father’s Day! Just keep him for one week and see how it goes.”
That little ball of fur immediately began following him everywhere.
Seven years later, Kenai still does. 🐾
Kenai became the loyal, obedient, loving companion his dad never knew he needed. He brought joy back into a home that had been missing a dog—and reminded his family of the unconditional love only a pet can give.
But keeping that love strong also means having access to veterinary care when pets need it most.
