NHLA member Hispanic Federation partnering organizations and elected officials launched “Unidos” (United), a hurricane relief fund to help those impacted by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.

Proceeds will help hurricane victims and the recovery efforts through fellow community and civic organizations in Puerto Rico.

The Latino Center for Leadership Development - LCLD welcomes new Vice President of Programs and Operations, Dr. Patty Garcia, where she will lead the implementation of the organization’s strategic plan.

Dr. Patty Garcia states that "the success of the United States is inextricably linked to the success of the Latino community. The Latino Center for Leadership Development serves a critical purpose in the advancement of the Latino community. I am honored to have an opportunity to contribute to the innovative efforts and build the next generation of leaders and scholars."
