Following a tradition that dates back to the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD, Christians around the world set aside these forty days leading up to Easter for deepened spiritual reflection. For us as artists, this season offers a profound opportunity: to translate that reflection into beauty. We have the privilege of processing our spiritual journey through the creative gifts God has given us. I encourage you, during these next days, to create in response to what God is speaking to you. DIU is considering developing a professional doctorate - 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 (𝐃𝐖𝐀𝐌) - that will share almost all of the PhD-level coursework, but which will have altered entrance and exit (capstone project) requirements that are more focused on those deeply engaged in ministry.

The GEN Board is thrilled to inform you that we have surpassed our Avery Scholarship fundraiser goal, having raised $16,924 since our fundraising campaign started, and through the Dinner. Hallelujah!
Thanks to the generosity of two donors, that amount has been matched, raising the total to $33,846.34.
Added to the reserves we had left in our balance, we're now able to bless 50+ global ethnodoxologists and their ethnoarts ministries in the coming years."
