Simply Grace has always been about creating a safe place for women to heal, grow, find community, and build a new life in recovery. That heart of who we are has not, and will not, change. Sometimes, loving an organization and protecting its future means making difficult decisions.

After careful consideration, Simply Grace has made the decision to close our Clinical Services program. This was not easy, and it comes with a lot of emotion for all of us who care deeply about Simply Grace and the women we serve.

We also want our community to know this very clearly:

Simply Grace is not closing. Our sober living homes remain open, the Simply Grace Thrift Store remains open, and our mission continues.

Our first priority is the women currently receiving clinical services. We are working individually with each client to help make sure she feels supported and is connected to continued care through this transition.

This change allows us to strengthen our foundation and continue focusing on the work that has always been at the heart of Simply Grace: walking alongside women in recovery and reminding them they do not have to do this alone.

Our sober living homes and our thrift store will continue to be an important part of how we serve women in recovery and support our mission in the community.

We are incredibly grateful for our residents, alumni, staff, donors, volunteers, referral partners, and community who continue to believe in this mission and in the women we serve.

Our homes are open. Our thrift store is open. Our community is here. Our mission continues. 🤍

🤍 We have a few really exciting opportunities to love on the women of Simply Grace right now, and we’re hoping you’ll help us make them happen!

First, we had an unexpected expense this week. The AC compressor at our thrift store gave out and has to be replaced. If you’ve been in Texas this summer, you know this isn’t something we can put off! Our thrift store helps fund our mission, so keeping it running is incredibly important.

Next, we have our monthly Graduation & Unity Night coming up! This is one of our favorite nights of the month because we get to bring women from all of our houses together to celebrate recovery milestones, share a meal, laugh, connect, encourage one another, and remind each other that none of us has to do this alone. We’d love your help providing dinner for everyone!

And finally… 🥹 One of our residents is getting ready to move into her very own apartment after almost TWO YEARS SOBER!! What an incredible accomplishment! We want to send her off with a housewarming starter kit filled with the everyday essentials that will help make her new place feel like home.
