Dallas United Crew, transforming lives and building community through teamwork in oar and paddle sports. Imagine what we can do for Dallas with a Community Boathouse on White Rock Lake? DUC is home of the largest youth rowing program in North Texas and North Texas' Champion Dragon Boat Team. Dallas United Crew offers youth and adult rowing and dragon boat programs. We hosted rowing as part of the National Wheelchair Games in 2015.

Sign ups are open for the Continuing Skills Camps - the perfect camp for those who’ve completed one week of Learn to Row (or a season of Middle School Rowing)!

Our Continuing Skills camp aims to sharpen skills in team boats & on the erg, and prepare the rowers for the next step: joining the High School or Middle School teams!

DUC SUMMER STAFF INTRODUCTION

Starting off our Summer Staff introductions is POLINA EGOROVA!

Coach Polina hails from Moscow, Russia, and just finished her junior year at the University of Connecticut and is studying Sports Management. As a former tennis player, she found rowing when she got to UCONN and has dreams to join the Russian National team.

What Coach Polina loves about rowing is the challenge and the feeling that you get when you finish a really hard workout. There’s only one way to find out that you’re getting the most out of yourself, and challenging yourself is how!

Though she’s only been in Dallas for a few weeks, she loves the DUC Boathouse and White Rock Lake.

A: The coaches here care a lot about the introduction to the sport, and want the kids to have fun while discovering something new!

Today we pause.

We remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to this country and the families who carry that weight forward. Freedom is not free, and the privilege of gathering on the water, of competing, of building something together at White Rock Lake, exists because of their sacrifice.

To every Gold Star family, every veteran who lost a brother or sister in arms, and every community that bears a name on a wall or a stone

we see you, and we are grateful.

Memorial Day is not a celebration. It is a remembrance.
