Adopt Bruno! He is a very sweet, low energy 13 yr old, 90lb, male Great Pyrenees mix, currently looking for a cushy place to live out his golden years. Found on his own last summer, he was chipped but no one came forward for him, so we scooped him up!

He is great with big and little dogs. He will romp around with the big dogs in the yard time to time. In his foster home, he has picked out a quiet, out of the way room for when he needs a little peace and quiet. There is a 30" door gate that Bruno easily clears to get into the room, but helps keep the other dogs out. He has not been cat tested.

Bruno is friendly and gentle with people. However he is shy with men, especially tall men, so will need slow introductions. Any children in the home should be respectful and not crawl on him since he is a senior.

Bruno is very laid back but does enjoy going on 'adventures'. He is outstanding on a leash and loads easily into the car. He loves being brushed but is not a big fan of baths.

He is house trained. He barks some but not excessive. He was never neutered and our vet has recommended not submitting him to surgery at his age.

Bruno is a very sweet, low energy guy that loves getting attention. Will that be from you?

Bruno is currently in a foster home in North Texas. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging their own transport. He is up to date on vaccines. He is currently undergoing slow kill heart worm treatment, SPIN Rescue will provide his adopters with medication to continue treatment. His adoption fee has generously been covered by a kind soul.

These two male Great Pyrenees puppies will be available for adoption starting next week. They are currently 12 weeks old and around 25lbs.

Bandit is the adventurer and explores everything while Aspen follows you around and gives unlimited kisses.

We’re in a season of high influx 📈—FB messages, Instagram messages, emails, calls, and post tags asking or begging us to take a pyr into rescue. We must reply to every single one that we are at capacity 🚫.

We don’t have a facility that allows us to say yes to whatever pyr whenever 🏠. We are entirely volunteer-run 🙌. Any dog that comes into our rescue is because a family said yes to bringing them into their own home to volunteer and take care of them. Any of our foster families who are available to say yes to a new placement are currently caring for one of our 45 pyrs in care 🐶.

We truly appreciate every tag, message, and call—your passion for these dogs inspires us every day! 🐾 But to help more pyrs, we need more than awareness—we need foster families 🏡. If you’ve ever considered opening your home and heart to a pyr in need, now is the perfect time ❤️. Fostering saves lives, and you’ll be making a real difference for these wonderful dogs 🦴. All fosters must be in the DFW area to receive care from one of our vet partners. We are not permitted by law to transport unvaccinated dogs out of state.

🎉 Marley Has Found His Forever Home! 🎉

🐾 Marley, the last of the resilient Dallas 8 litter, waited patiently for his perfect forever family. Marley was initially adopted from the Dallas shelter through their foster-to-adopt program. SPIN kept the door open for all the littermates, promising to step in if any needed help. When Marley was returned after just a few weeks due to minor health issues—nothing we hadn’t seen and already treated in his siblings—our hero volunteer sprang into action. Within 12 hours, Marley was safe and on the road to recovery, surrounded by love and determination. 💪❤️

Through it all, Marley never gave up hope. ✨ He kept believing that a loving family was out there, waiting just for him. 💖

Then came the moment Marley—and all of us—had been waiting for. ✨ His wonderful adopter drove all the way from Colorado, crossing states, just to meet him. 🚗💨 During their meet-and-greet, Marley’s excitement was contagious. He greeted his future family with fearless joy, as if he knew his dreams were finally coming true. 🐶💞 When they returned to finalize the adoption, Marley could hardly contain himself—he nearly pulled my arm off rushing to the family he’d been hoping for. It was pure magic, watching Marley recognize that this was his forever family—his dream come true. 🌟🏡

Marley is happily riding shotgun all the way to Colorado, ready for new adventures with his amazing family. 🚙🐾 A huge thank you to his kind adopter and every caring SPIN volunteer who made Marley’s journey from stray pup to cherished companion possible! 🥰🙌

She’s guessed to be 10-11 months old. Settling in well with the dogs in her foster home and very sweet with people.

Millie is estimated to be around 6 years old and 90lbs. She came from a neglected outdoor pen, so it's especially heartwarming to see her enjoying people, walks, and life so much.

PUPPIES! Over the weekend 6 Great Pyrenees puppies came into SPIN Rescue. They are cute as can be, meeting the big dogs, and doing well adjusting to home life.

Right now they are 11 weeks old and they weigh in around 25-30lbs, so they will grow up to be very big dogs!

*The puppies are currently in foster homes in DFW area Texas. We do adopt out of state, but out of state adopters will need to arrange their own transportation as we don't provide any.

Of the other 4 puppies: one is being foster failed, one will be adopted by an already approved adopter, one is on a trial foster to adopt, and the 4th, is our sweet Max, who was having health issues when he arrived. Max will eventually be available for adoption but we are waiting for his vet rechecks and giving him more time to settle.

Guess who is getting picked up!! It's MAX 🩵

The phenobarbital helped his seizures and he hasn't had one in over 24 hours, so he gets to come back to his foster home and be with his siblings 🥰

He will need his bloodwork rechecked in 2 weeks and we haven't found the cause, but hopefully this medication will continue to work and help him. (They did try Keppra first with no relief).

❤️‍🩹 His medical bills have cost us around $6k for the two overnight stays, ER exam, neuro consult, IV meds, imaging, testing, and continuous monitoring. We have received many donations already towards his care and are very grateful for the support.

Snowy is feeling so much better! Her foster family has renamed her Zuri, which means beautiful and lovely 🤍

Thank you to everyone who donated towards her care. She is currently on antibiotics for her vaginal and ear infections. Luckily it was nothing requiring surgery.
