It’s the most wonderful time of year - unless you’re spending it in the NICU. No offense to the incredible team there, but no mom ever imagines being in the hospital for her baby’s first Christmas. That’s exactly why the staff, along with our organization, try to go above and beyond to make the season as special as possible. From tiny reindeer onesies and custom ornaments to hopefully even a visit from the big guy himself 🎅🏼.
This week, we were honored to drop off a $23,000 check for much-needed medical equipment/training - and we signed the contract to sponsor the first-ever NICU Support Person at UTSW—a huge milestone. None of this would be possible without our amazing donors and the incredible success of Fighters’ Weekend. Because of you, families spending the holidays in the NICU feel a little more hope, comfort, and Christmas magic. ❤️🎄✨
