America Madheshi Samaaj (AMS) is helping raise funds to support Rakesh, a man in his 40s known for his kindness and warm nature, who is facing a serious medical crisis. Following a sudden stroke involving internal bleeding, he has been left paralyzed on the left side of his body and is currently hospitalized in Dallas after undergoing a procedure to drain fluid from his brain.

We are reaching out to our community to help Rakesh and his family during this incredibly difficult time. Funds raised will help cover intensive rehabilitation, therapy, medical equipment, and eventually safe transportation back to his family in Nepal.

Our brother Biswamohan Mishra is fighting severe pneumonia on ventilator support in the ICU at Baylor Medical Center, Dallas.
While his wife, Pooja, should be celebrating their 9-day-old newborn and 18-month-old toddler, she faces an unimaginable crisis alone. As the sole breadwinner, Biswamohan’s critical illness has left this young family with crushing medical bills and mounting daily expenses.
