This is so stupid. Venues are just starting to bounce back and now the City of Dallas - City Hall wants Deep Ellum -- Dallas' entertainment district -- to be quiet. Please sign the petition if you haven't already.

The Karens in the Code Compliance Department need to go back to shuffling paper and leave our Deep Ellum music venues & creative community alone. They have suffered enough & shouldn't have to put up with this bu****it.

And if you live in Deep Ellum and complain about music GO LIVE IN THE BURBS. WE DON'T WANT YOU HERE!!!!!!

As business owners began getting warnings from code enforcement about noise, it seemed to them that the rules had changed. They didn’t, but the people enforcing them did.
