HAPPY 4TH to our TROOPS. These are custom 5-ton military trucks we designed and made as a creative way to raise money for my non-profit. These are real jeeps. Haha The Military does not make trucks like this. Not sure how many of you remember that I was tired of seeing our military suffer so I embarked on a journey and founded a nonprofit org. with not a clue where it would take me. I witnessed our troops coming home from the War in Iraq void of purpose and dealing with demoralizing depression. Imprisoned in their insecurity. They were addicted to drugs, su***de rate was through the roof, domestic violence ramped, their rate of divorce was much higher than the national average and depression loomed so heavy they couldn’t hold down a normal civilian job. Why you ask? The military system was failing them and my belief was a relationship with Jesus Christ would fix all these issues and especially give purpose to their lives. Just like it had done in my own life. Well it worked. We saw thousands and thousands of lives transformed and start a life that was no longer void of God and able to thrive in their world back home. Our program was so successful we took it to the largest military bases around the nation and all the way to the Pentagon. I was invited to speak at the Pentagon about our program and also invited to be the keynote speaker at the Pentagon prayer breakfast. I remember walking into the offices of the Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff, Chief of Naval Operations, Chief of Staff of the Army, Commandant of the Marine Corps , etc. and having them all coin me and thinking, what in the world am I doing here? After hearing me tell my story at our Pentagon program, the Commandant of the Marine Corps walked up to me and said “you need to be speaking to every soldier I have”. Wow! Never forget that moment. Great memories! Today, years later, I find myself so thankful for all the military and civilian people and my wonderful 8 board of directors that helped me pull this off. It was truly a God thing and He used you all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. The guy in the picture is one of my best friends to date, William that was an outstanding marine in the War in Iraq and was a tremendous help for me during our quest for greatness as a nonprofit. Make sure you thank and remember your Military today. Happy 4th of July everybody.
