Looking for a way to support the people of Ukraine? Here are opportunities from Deep Vellum Publishing:

Dearest Friends, To write this letter makes me so emotional it feels impossible. I have spent my entire life studying Russian and Ukrainian literature and culture, and even with all of the historical precedent leading up to this moment, I truly cannot believe that we are here. What can we do? What e...

On July 7, 2016, Dallasites were stunned when five police officers were killed and nine others were injured in a mass shooting at a peaceful Black Lives Matter march. The suspect, an Army Reserve Afghan War veteran, was motivated by his outrage against police killings of Black people across the U.S.

Now, in 2021, as we continue to participate in community conversations in search of healing, remember that we cannot talk about the hateful events that have happened without naming racism. We urge you to connect to and support the work of Dallas Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation and get involved.
