We dodged the rain showers and with 16 volunteers we stained 150 beds worth of bed parts. These beds came from the Lowe’s 24 hour build held in April. We did it in under 3 hours on top of that.

Then we were treated to some wonderful BBQ for lunch thanks to an anonymous donor who was unable to attend. We will be delivering theses beds over the next couple of weeks. Look for links in previous posts if you would like to help us end child bedlessness.

We still need help in Johnson county. We have two teams forming to deliver beds to kids that don’t have one. Two teams equals 10 volunteers needed. No experience is needed and we provide all the tools, you just need to show up and we will show you how to assemble the beds. Link will be in the comments.

Hey everybody! We are hosting a staining event on June 6th in Waxahachie. We will be starting at 8:00 am to hopefully avoid any heat that the day might bring. We have 150+ beds to stain and those that participate will be treated to a BBQ lunch from an anonymous downer. Spots are limited to the first 20 that sign up so get your name on the list. Over the last two days we had teams out delivering beds across the metroplex. A total of 16 kids received beds and will no longer be sleeping on the floor. Follow along for our next deliveries in June and you too can be part of this fantastic project.

We are building 40 beds this morning with Alcon in south Fort Worth. Only one more build this sprig for us. Deliveries are scheduled throughout the summer on the third Saturday of the month.
