Founded in 1997 by and for LGBTQ+ and their allies to develop communication and leadership skills in a fun, safe, and affirming environment. Our club is an eclectic group of supportive and energetic people. We have members of all ages, backgrounds, and professions. Our meetings tend to be fun, and we often gather after our meetings at a nearby restaurant for dinner and socializing. We regularly pa

rticipate in other community activities. The First Gay-Identified Club in Toastmasters! Leadership Lambda TM Club was chartered in June 1997 as the first gay-identified Toastmaster club in the world - but you don't have to be gay to be a member of our club. Toastmasters International welcomes the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered communities. TM's bylaws explicitly prohibit discrimination of any kind. We currently have both gay and straight members in our club. We are an Open Club, meaning anyone can join our club after attending one meeting (but you must be at least 18 to join). We welcome guests to our meetings. We encourage you to join us: we can help you to improve your communication and leadership skills. We meet every Monday (except major holidays) at 6:30 p.m

Another week, another fabulous toastmasters meeting at Leadership Lambda! Lisa did a spectacular job as our toastmaster and we were treated to two speeches by Tim and Maryssa! Our next meeting will be on June 1st, so have a fantastic Memorial Day weekend!

What a fantastic meeting we had this past week! Sabrina did a wonderful job as our toastmaster for the evening, guiding us through the theme “Mom, there is only one…or is there?” Additionally, we were treated to a marvelous speech by Djenabou, followed by Dickson’s icebreaker speech!!

Congratulations to this year's District 50 Spring Conference Hall of Fame Nominees, Finalists and Winners as well as attending Leadership Lambda Toastmaster fellow members!

All our officers were nominated and 5 were finalists: the 2 with awards below, Seldon (Immediate Past President) & Maryssa (President) and Levi (Secretary), David (Treasurer) and Connor (Social Media).
