Our German Wine and Food Event was highly successful, featuring six carefully chosen German wines paired with dishes from Kuby’s Sausage House in Dallas. Attendees enjoyed both the wine and food. Long-time member Donna Derden hosted the event, with presentations by Bridget Moore, Mary Stipo Potter and Lynda McDevitt. Together, they guided participants through the Pfalz, Franken, Rheingau, and Rheinhessen regions of Germany, sharing insights about the distinctive wines produced there. It was a wonderful gathering focused on years of friendship and wine appreciation from our distinguished WWS Dallas members. 🍷🇩🇪❤️

Sip, Savor, Prost! A German Wine & Food Evening

Join us for a special German Wine & Food Evening as we celebrate the start of the new year and our members. This event will highlight a curated selection of Germany’s wines and culinary traditions.

Our WWS Dallas Chapter Member’s Only December event turned out to be a fun and festive occasion! We especially enjoyed the time to visit, taste wines from our library, dine on delicious food, and share a bottle of our favorite wine for the gift exchange. Cheers! 🍷

The WWS Dallas Chapter hosted its November gathering at the charming ArtCentre of Plano, surrounded by inspiring art. Throughout the evening, attendees explored the winemaking traditions and wine characteristics from the Central and Eastern European countries of Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, and Bulgaria. Tasting regional wines paired with local foods, members Mary Potter and current Dallas president Susan Via shared insights into the history and distinctiveness of these nations’ wines. The event was filled with laughter, joy, and camaraderie.
