Slipper Club of Dallas Dallas's first women's social club, founded in 1934. Serving women and children's nonprofits in DFW The Slipper Club of Dallas welcomes you to our event page!

This is the best way to stay up-to-date with all of our fun goings-on throughout the year. These events are open to members, friends, family, and anyone interested in attending to learn more about Slipper Club and our efforts to make a difference in Dallas. Funds raised yearly benefit our yearly beneficiary.

This week, we had the honor to present to our 2025-2026 beneficiary, The Dallas Symphony Orchestra, over $28,000.00 fundraised by the Women of Slipper Club this year.

Thank you to all of our members for your hard work and dedication, time volunteered, and service to the DSO over this past term! 🎺🎻🪉

Reflections on this year from our President, Savannah Lehner.

Looking back on this past year, what accomplishments or moments made you most proud of your organization and its members?

What made me most proud this year was watching the board and our members come together with such strong ideas—and then actually execute them. It’s one thing to brainstorm, but it’s another to follow through and bring those ideas to life in a meaningful way. There was a real sense of collaboration, ownership, and momentum that carried through the entire year.

How have you seen friendships and connections within Slipper Club grow or deepen over the year?

This is, without a doubt, the best part of Slipper Club. From my perspective as president, it’s been incredibly special to watch new members form genuine friendships while returning members continue to deepen and expand their circles. There’s something really powerful about seeing people find their place and their people within the group.

Were there any Slipper Club traditions this year that felt especially meaningful or memorable?

The gala is always a fun and memorable night, but this year it felt especially meaningful as the culmination of everything we worked toward in 2025–2026. It was a moment to celebrate not just the event itself, but everything we accomplished along the way—especially the impact we were able to make in support of DSO.
