One year ago, the Dallas community came together in an extraordinary display of compassion and generosity at the All-Club Camp Mystic Benefit Cookout, held at Barley House. What began as a grassroots effort quickly became a powerful example of what can happen when organizations, families, and friends unite around a common purpose.
Representatives from clubs across Dallas joined forces to honor the Camp Mystic community following the devastating Hill Country floods. Throughout the afternoon and evening, Barley House was filled with neighbors reconnecting, volunteers serving meals, local businesses donating goods and services, and countless supporters contributing to the cause. Every burger served, raffle ticket purchased, and donation made reflected a shared commitment to helping Camp Mystic families begin the long road to recovery.
Beyond the funds raised, the cookout created something even more meaningful: hope. It reminded those affected that they were not facing tragedy alone. The event demonstrated the strength of the Dallas community and the deep bonds that connect generations of Camp Mystic families, many of whom have lifelong ties to the camp.
A year later, the All-Club Camp Mystic Benefit Cookout remains a shining example of service, leadership, and community spirit. The success of the event was measured not only by the generosity of its supporters but by the lasting impact it had on the lives of those it sought to help.
