We’re thrilled to announce that Harry Hefner has been promoted to Company Dancer for Ballet North Texas’ 2026–2027 season!

Since joining BNT last season, Harry has brought his artistry, dedication, and energy to the studio and stage, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what’s ahead.

Congratulations, Harry! We can’t wait to watch you step into this next chapter! 🩰✨

First up: revisiting Sam Jones’s Changeling as part of our upcoming triple bill, alongsid works by Artistic Director Nicolina Lawson and Company Dancer Alayna Wong.

Mic’d Up with Ella 🎤🩰

Her highlights include blaming any questionable technique on her brand-new pointe shoes, hyping up Daniel from the back of class with a classic “well, almost, Daniel,” and nearly breaking an ankle during brisé. 😂

She also learned that brisé apparently means “to hurt,” gave us the important update that Harry was looking very fashionable, and continued to yap her way through class.

Honestly, we’re just glad she had a microphone for all of this. 👀

Ballet North Texas is seeking young dancers ages 6+ to perform in our professional production of The Nutcracker at Moody Performance Hall.

Auditions will be held August 29 at Ballet North Texas Studios:

Ages 12+ | 9:30–11:00 AM
Ages 6–12 | 11:00 AM–12:00 PM

Dancers should arrive 20 minutes early.

Her highlights include questioning whether her inner monologue is actually a dialogue, defending her brand-new pointe shoes with a strict “no judgy-judgy” policy, blaming the mic for her turns, and settling the very important debate: avocado or ah-vocado? 🥑😂
