NEW PICTURES OF POCKET PARK POSTED. All the concrete has been poured as our community's newly formed Pocket Park is quickly taking shape and built to last and stand the test of time and many passersby utilizing the Rickreall Creek Trail.

MEETING: Team meeting for our class project participants on Thursday, January 19, 2011. We all calling together this meeting to get everyone from our Dallas / Falls City Cohorts an opportunity to be part of this project. We are getting close to the final stages and we would like to have the input of everyone who made this possible...that is all of us as a team. Please respond to this post if you are able to attend or if you will not be able to.

UPDATE: We met today in the Rickreall Creek Townhomes Community Room and it was good to meet face to face with those of you who could make it. Thank you to Mayra, Lisa, Jackie Lawson, Dave and myself (Justin) for attending. We covered construction progress, funds in, expenses out and balance left available. Our Dallas Pocket Park will be completed later this week with the final concrete poured on Wednesday, December 21st. We are looking at breaking ground at the Falls City site as soon as possible. I will keep you posted.

Dear Friends, Family and Colleagues...please visit this link and check out the community project I am volunteering with key community leaders in the Polk County area to construct a 'Pocket Park' as our donated gift to this community. ATTENTION DALLAS COMMUNITY: As our community leaders gather to contribute towards this successful project, the delinquents of our society have brought awareness to the existence of vandalism occurring literally overnight, which has cost our General Contractor of Liberty Concrete an additional day volunteered labor. PLEASE BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR INDIVIDUALS ATTEMPTING TO VANDALIZE THESE CONCRETE FORMS. CONTACT LOCAL LAW OFFICIALS IF YOU SEE SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.

Jody, on behalf of the Dallas & Falls City Cohorts...we truly thank you for your time, dedication to this cause while constructing a place for our Dallas Community to 'Stop and Rest' at our soon to be completed 'Family Gathering Place'.
