Gentle gardeners, we still could use a large self propelled snow blower if anyone has one to donate to the garden. I know it seldom snows so why do you need a snow blower. Well, we need it to help Steven and I turn the compost. Currently we mis it using the tiller and then scoop it back into a pile. A snow blower would help immensely with both of those. Please let me know if you can help.

Gentle gardeners, the good news is that the dry summer appears to be over. The bad news is that the rain that seems to be on the way will interfere with Community Day at LHCG. We are canceling for today and will reschedule for 3rd Saturday on October 17th.

Gentle gardeners,
The Poo Czars are looking for a good running self propelled snow blower. If you have one to get rid of we are looking for one to use in turning the compost. The price has to be right and right is a free donation to the garden. We would happily arrange pick up in the metro area and would hang a sign celebrating your donation in front of its parking spot in the shed.

Gentle gardeners, attached is a picture and license plate of a truck that stole a wheelbarrow and spades from our garden this afternoon. A police report has been made. Please be on the alert for a white pickup in the garden area. If you should happy to see the truck in a neighborhood construction site, please alert the police.

Gentle gardeners, the garden is in need of a lawnmower. Our last one gave up the ghost and we need to mow. We would love if some one has a used one in good running order that they’d like to donate. As we are a nonprofit, it’s possible that it would count as charitable donation. Please let us know. We’d be ever so grateful.

CHANGE OF PLANS

🌧️ Community Day POSTPONED 🌧️

Due to the forecasted rain, we are postponing Community Day and all of its fun activities until Saturday, June 20.

Please mark your calendars and plan to join us then—we have lots of great projects planned and would love your help.

If the rain happens to stay away tomorrow, a few dedicated volunteers will still be at the garden working. If you're available, we'd be grateful for any extra hands.

Thank you for your flexibility, and we look forward to seeing everyone on June 20! 🌱
