🎉 Meet the Team! Leena Mohamedali 🎉

Leena Mo. is a graduate from Duke University, where she studied Neuroscience and minored in Philosophy and History. While in school, she interned with the Multilingual Resource Center at Durham Public Schools, volunteered at refugee nonprofits like Offene Arme in Chios, and researched topics on mental health and gender with the Zucker Lab and Avance Psychiatry Clinic. Whether volunteering as a Head Tutor with America Reads or with Windham Schools classrooms for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Leena has focused on the importance of educational access to empower students for more than eight years. In her free time, Leena loves reading, hiking, and exploring new restaurants. Leena is excited to continue her work with Nation of Hope to develop the space of mental health and provide access to resources for marginalized people everywhere.
